Killing It
I had plans in 2023… big plans.
I was intent on producing my second feature film complete with a big budget (big for me), and even a known name or two. As they often do, my best laid plans succumbed to reality. I had to face the fact that at least for the time being that particular script needed to wait.
What better way to commiserate than doom scrolling on Instagram. As I was scrolling I came across local comic Zach Dresch. In that moment the idea for a story about a struggling comic who needs to come to terms with his abusive father to claim his true comedic voice materialized.
I didn’t know Zach but we had plenty of friends in common. Thus I reached out to pitch the idea. Fast forward to April of 2025 we were in production. Check out the article by 605 Pigeon to learn more about the production, cast and crew.
We are currently wrapping up post production and I’m really looking forward to sharing the completed film in 2026.
